Happy Halloween guys, I have created a simple DIY Halloween light decoration, before i show you what I have created I will go ahead and answer frequently asked questions about Halloween.


What is Halloween?
the night of 31 October, the eve of All Saints' Day, often celebrated by children dressing up in frightening masks and costumes. Halloween is thought to be associated with the Celtic festival Samhain when ghosts and spirits were believed to be abroad.

What is Halloween celebrated for?
The origin of the festival is disputed, and there are both pagan and Christian practices that have evolved into what Halloween is like today. Some believe it originates from the Celtic pagan festival of Samhain, meaning 'Summer's End' which celebrated the end of harvest season.




Why do people dress up in costumes for Halloween?
This can explain why many of the costumes we wear are on the spooky side. ... As for when people began really dressing up to celebrate Halloween as the holiday, it is now, it actually started in County Cork, Ireland. The Scottish also participated, but, according to TechTimes, they called it "guising."

How do we celebrate Halloween?
Many Americans celebrate the traditions of Halloween by dressing in costumes and telling tales of witches and ghosts. Pumpkins are carved into glowering jack-o'-lanterns. Children parade from house to house, knocking on doors and calling out "Trick or treat!" hoping to have their bags filled with candy.

Why did Halloween begin?
Halloween has its roots in the ancient, pre-Christian Celtic festival of Samhain, which was celebrated on the night of October 31. The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom, and northern France, believed that the dead returned to earth on Samhain.
